Adjusting for Unequal Selection Probability in Multilevel Models

 Our best results arrays uses collected data with complex sampling plans involving a selection of both clusters (downlines) and individuals with a probability of stabilized selection based on historical models.  Research in methods of using multilevel modeling (MLM) procedures to analyze such data is relatively rare because it is labor intensive to create the modeling software. Sampling weights based on selection probabilities of individuals are often used to estimate population-based models. We find that it is more accurate in Multi Level Pay Plan Modeling to use past data based on:

1.  Similar product or service types from our MLM library of over Compensation Pay Plans.

2.  Similar price points for above from our MLM library of Compensation Pay Plans.

3.  To base calculations on curvilinear growth patterns that is time independent for an MLM Pay Plan.

4.  This provides the most accurate means of studying breakage (gain) and overpayment (loss) to an MLM.

5.  The core of the historical MLM Pay Plan data comes from over 1000 genealogies of MLM Companies and large downlines coded in for use in our system, which is written in Fox Pro.

As you can see, sampling weights (historical) used for estimating multilevel models need to be constructed differently than weights used for single-level (population-average) models. MLM WatchDog June 2006 These guys were not scamsters, just dumb for not having a Legit Comp Plan Designer write the plan.  It was a great product and hot!  However the pay plan (they copied from somewhere) was a flat out pyramid scheme with all the wrong words and rewards.  They put in a 911 call for help, but way too late!  Now the poor innocents are going to pay for it the rest of their lives!  Jail cells aren’t comfortable!  Sad!

SEC Halts Fraudulent Pyramid Scheme Targeting  Community and Obtains Emergency Restraining Orders and Asset Freezes The Securities and Exchange Commission announced that, on May 30, 2006, it sought and obtained an emergency order to halt and charge Sanderley R. De Vasconcelos and Victor Sales with promoting a pyramid scheme known as "FoneClub"   The SEC also froze almost $2 million dollars collected in the operation.

BINARY PAY CONTROL, A SPECIALTY OF OURS: A common problem with Binary Pay Plans is that after they mature they “creep” and end up paying out too much. This can happen anywhere from six months to two years and happens as more people join and earn money. This generates more matching pay points in the Binary “legs” (from the bottom), collecting money from the sales volume as it flows up. Numerous Binary companies have gone out of business because they did not carefully watch and control their commission payouts. In fact, for several years no 1/3 – 2/3 Binary companies survived. One company called me at 2 a.m. and was screaming that their Binary was paying out 133%. I said reassuringly, “not a problem, we can fix it in a couple of days.” The voice on the other end broke down into a sob, “we’ve been doing it for 6 weeks!” The company’s comptroller had left. They did not have a separate escrow account for commissions. The IT people just kept doing computer runs at 133%, effectively emptying the bank account. Those runs had driven the company flat broke ($750,000 excess paid)! If you are joining a company with a Binary Pay Plan, make sure they have something like this in their comp plan language for your own protection. Is the Binary the best MLM Pay Plan? Once again, it depends on the products or services!
